White Funds Management’s (WFM) new Sydney office was designed to represent a step forward for their company. From the initial meeting, the client had a clear vision for the space, and wanted to move into the space as fast as possible. With a tight deadline, our design team had to come up with a solution that would take advantage of some existing features and integrate them into the new office design.
Engaging the natural light, and creating a bright, inviting space was a priority to the client. The open plan workspace and glass partitioned boardroom gave life to this concept, and allowed the light to transition effortlessly through the space. Despite a smaller footprint, the workspace feels spacious, with finishes kept neutral and subtle hints to WFM’s brand.
This project in particular took into consideration its environmental impact, the existing herringbone parquetry flooring becoming a centerpiece of the tenancy, while still meeting the client’s expectations when it came to aesthetics for the new office. Reintegrating the feature flooring, as well as re-purposing of other elements to suit the new design helped reduce waste, and also translated into a more cost effective solution for our client.
