Visual Risk is a risk management and treasury software provider, leading the industry with their innovative approach to business and a plethora of digital products integrating the financial sector with the latest technologies.
Being a forward thinking business, Visual Risk approached Morphos to design their new Sydney office with this idea in mind, looking to create a space that reflected the quirky, eclectic culture that the business had developed.
Central to the design was the strong representation of the companies branding throughout the entire space. Thematic elements of African motifs were scattered throughout to pay homage to the director’s South African background. These elements continued around the office through the décor, colour themes and signage, including large feature film designs of the African Protea and Flame Lily.
Like most modern office spaces, taking advantage of the natural light was important to the client, and our design team was able to capitalise on this to allow maximum flow into every corner of the space. The abundance of greenery outside was also reflected in the design, to create a unique indoor jungle atmosphere
The open plan design located the kitchen in a central location, creating a hub for staff interaction, collaboration and relaxation. This area also served as a breakout space for visitors and staff to connect. Our designers made good use of the polished concrete floor throughout the kitchen and work zone, which perfectly complemented the more exotic spaces like the boardroom. With the abundance of open planned work areas and collaborative spaces, it was important to create areas for privacy. Small quiet rooms were carefully designed for this purpose, to allow staff to make phone calls or work privately.
Morphos are extremely proud of the outcome of this project. It is always a welcome opportunity to work with a client like Visual Risk, allowing our team to put their capabilities on full display, and deliver a unique space for the client that stands out from the rest
